The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP methods, API authentication, Postman, basic databases/SQL, and troubleshooting techniques. The candidate should also be comfortable documenting technical issues, communicating with developers and non-technical users, escalating complex issues when necessary, etc.
