It is a hands-on, P&L-impacting credit strategy and succession role.Job ResponsibilitiesWorkstream economics and planningOwn the end-to-end performance of your assigned Android workstreamBuild a prioritised strategy and delivery roadmap aligned to the Android annual business planOwn the relevant workstream assumptions, monthly forecast and corrective actionsReview budget-versus-actual performance and explain material variancesManage the relevant approval, disbursal, exposure, revenue, risk-adjusted Gross Profit, ECL, FPD, roll-rate, PAR, NPL, customer-value and recoverability metricsIdentify material risk, economic leakage and profitable growth opportunitiesQuantify expected impact, implementation requirements, dependencies and downside risksCredit strategy and experimentationDepending on your mandate, you may design and improve:Eligibility, requalification and rejected-customer re-entryPD cut-offs and calibrationOffers, exposure limits, pricing and tenureDTI, affordability and income-source treatmentTop-Up and Consolidation eligibilityRepeat-customer growth and customer-lifecycle strategyHigh-risk treatments and policy overlaysCustomer routing and graduation logicProduction implementation and controlsTranslate recommendations into decision-engine rules, parameters and implementation requirementsWork directly with SQL, analytical code and decision logic where neededDefine replay, back-testing, validation and testing requirementsReview implementation logic for unintended policy or model interactionsDefine staged rollout, monitoring and rollback plansMonitor strategies after release and take corrective action where performance differs from expectationMaintain clear documentation, policy versioning and decision traceabilityCross-functional delivery and governanceYou will work closely with the Android portfolio leadership team, Decision Science, Engineering, Product, Growth, Finance, Portfolio Economics, Collections, Fraud, Compliance, Legal, Operations and Customer Service.Write clear analytical and implementation briefsDefine owners, milestones and expected economic impactManage dependencies actively and escalate blockers with optionsOperate within agreed risk appetite, budgets and delegated authorityScale, pause, modify or roll back controlled strategies within your mandateEscalate decisions outside authority or with material legal, regulatory or customer-conduct implicationsSenior individual-contributor leadership and successionBe the recognised owner of your assigned workstreamSet its roadmap, forecast, scorecard and operating cadenceReview peer analysis and improve analytical and implementation standardsMentor other analysts where requiredDocument critical policy, model and decision-engine knowledgeReduce key-person dependencyRepresent your workstream in senior forumsDeputise for the Lead Risk Manager, Portfolio Owner or designated workstream lead when requiredBuild the judgement and breadth required to progress into broader portfolio ownershipRequirements4–7+ years in consumer credit risk, credit strategy, lending analytics or portfolio managementStrong experience in digital unsecured lending, consumer finance, credit cards, overdrafts, BNPL or a related environmentEvidence of owning a material credit-strategy workstream through analysis, implementation and monitoringStrong understanding of PD, LGD, EAD, vintages, roll rates, FPD, PAR, NPL, ECL, pricing, offers, tenure, exposure and NPVStrong SQL capability and comfort with Python, R or equivalent analytical toolingExperience translating credit strategy into decision-engine requirements or production rulesStrong written and verbal communicationAbility to work independently in a fast-moving and ambiguous environmentBenefits25 days paid vacation, Sick & Public Holidays to B2B contractors.Remote (timezone must have significant overlap with CET).Training & Development budget.Paid company business tripsRecruitment ProcessA screening interview with one of the members of the Talent Acquisition team.Business Case Study Technical interview with Global Head of Android LendingFinal Interview with Chief Credit Officer
