Purpose of the Role:

Act as the owner of assigned brand(s), owning brand growth, market performance and the end-to-end consumer journey. Translate consumer, shopper and cultural understanding into outstanding activation, execution and commercial results.


About the role:

  • Deliver brand P&L, net sales value, market share, brand health, and ROI targets across assigned beer brands and portfolio segments.
  • Lead the development and execution of integrated annual brand plans that drive sustainable growth and consumer engagement.
  • Own the end-to-end consumer and shopper journey, translating global growth drivers, campaigns, and innovation initiatives into locally relevant activation programs.
  • Generate actionable consumer, shopper, and cultural insights to inform portfolio, communication, and activation strategies.
  • Lead the Creative Adaptation agenda across Africa Partner Markets, ensuring high-quality localization of global creative assets and campaigns.
  • Act as the regional custodian of brand governance, ensuring compliance with global brand standards, visual identity systems, communication guidelines, and responsible marketing principles.
  • Provide strategic oversight and support to Partner Markets to ensure consistent and high-quality execution of brand plans and initiatives.
  • Manage agency partners and adaptation processes to deliver efficient, effective, and timely campaign deployment across markets.
  • Collaborate with Commercial, Supply, Finance, Consumer & Shopper Insights, and Innovation teams to unlock growth opportunities and maximize commercial impact.
  • Monitor business performance and marketing effectiveness, leveraging data and insights to optimize investment allocation and improve outcomes.
  • Identify, evaluate, and drive opportunities for portfolio expansion, innovation launches, and market development initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with key Partner Market stakeholders to strengthen brand capability, governance, and execution excellence across the region.
  • Champion best-practice sharing and continuous improvement across Africa Partner Markets to elevate marketing effectiveness and execution standards.

Experience / skills required:

Degree in Marketing, Business or related discipline.

Typically 4–7 years of marketing, commercial or FMCG experience.

Proven track record delivering integrated campaigns and business results.

Strong stakeholder management and project leadership skills.
