Role: Civil EngineerLocation: Port HarcourtSlots: 4 Job PurposeDevelopment of the contract teams and execution of all civil and structural jobs under their control. Upholding the safety in the jobs.Taking the requirement of maintenance from the internal customers through telephone calls, emails, direction from the superiors.Core ResponsibilitiesVerify project plans, engineering designs, drawings, and material quantities for accuracyCoordinate with the project team to manage interdisciplinary interfacesFormulate Site Technical Queries (STQs) and follow up to secure clarificationsMonitor project schedules and submit detailed daily progress reportsMaintain and organize current project documents, specifications, and standards for all active projectsTrack project document revisions and assess their impact on schedule in a timely mannerEnforce strict quality control and safety measures across all contractor activitiesPerform verification of site measurementsPerform any other task assigned by departmentExperience15 years of experience in petrochemicals/fertilizer plant operations, out of which minimum 5 years as DCS Panel Operator in Polypropylene Plant.B.Eng/HND in relevant field
